BTOB is getting ready for a comeback which should be making fans overjoyed. However, BTOB fans are claiming that they are tired already.
The 8th mini album of BTOB titled 'Remember That' is soon to be released. Fans are excited at their return but they are struggling financially to support their idols. Fans claim that BTOB has completed about one year of promotions in just 4 months. The rigorous marketing is not only tiring for the artist, but also the fans, especially in a financial way.
Several fans say that being a BTOB fan is too expensive. First, BTOB's concert took place back in December. The cost of the event ranged from $90 to $170. Then a fan meeting took place which cost $35. Soon after that BTOB started promoting in Japan in which several fans flew overseas to buy their Japanese album. Airplane tickets, and hotels also add to the cost. Then the Melon Special MD which fans said, "looked as if it was carelessly prepared", took another $35 out of their pockets. Finally the new album 'Remember That' costs $15. The images in the album are random so some fans will have to keep purchasing until they get the one they desire.
Fans are not complaining about the prices. They are just upset at the rigorous and speedy promotions done by Cube Entertainment. Fans wrote, "I'm glad they are doing all that, but come on Cube, you have to give Melody (BTOB Fan Club) some time to save up money", "Cube are you out of money?", "We are just fans not billionaires",etc.
It's good to see BTOB but it's unfortunate to see fans struggle. Do you think Cube Entertainment should slow down with their 'rigorous' marketing? Their tactics are most likely due to the fact that Cube had a significant financial loss in 2015.
