SPICA Jiwon's label takes strong stance against the people circulating malicious rumors

The malicious rumors grew out of control for SPICA's Jiwon, and the group's official label CJ E&M/B2M Entertainment has came forward with a stern warning against all of Jiwon's haters.

Through an official statement released on March 20, Jiwon's label addressed the people who have been circulating rumors. From the contents of the statement, it appears that the rumors are in regard to the idol prostitution exposures which have been rampant in the media as of late. The statement goes:

"Hello. This is Jiwon (SPICA)'s management label CJ E&M's Music Performance Division/B2M Entertainment.

We are releasing our official statement regarding the groundless malicious rumors circulating on social media and the internet in relation to Yang Jiwon.

We want to firmly announce that the recent stories regarding Yang Jiwon which are spreading via jjirashi (chat room rumors) are false. The malicious rumors about Yang Ji Won, such as that she was the taken in for investigation, are also not true. Due to the groundless, ill intentioned rumors, the emotional distress and damaged reputation suffered by the involved party are severe in magnitude.

We plan to take legal action against those who indiscriminately spread such falsities, and we will not compromise. We are in the process of collecting evidence and looking into requesting a police investigation, and we will use any other means necessary to respond forcibly [to the rumors].
